Ted — I have not tried any of these apps as I don’t have an Android tablet, but here’s a site with some ideas: http://appcrawlr.com/android-apps/best-apps-sketch-note

I’m encouraged by your article and ready to try drawing.

I love being creative and I think in my head there’s a very creative person but I often struggle to replicate what’s in my head with my hands and make it look even half as artistic as it did in my head! I like to use the Paper app by FiftyThree. I have their stylus (Pencil), but I used a basic, cheap, 10-for-$5-from-Amazon stylus for a long time … and still do from time to time.

It is so simple but so encouraging. I love sketchnoting (I have recently rediscovered my love for drawing) but I usually do it for life, family and motherhood. Like all things (I suppose) it is that little voice that whispers “it will not be any good” that keeps me from trying it in an educational venue. I have a big conference coming up next week and I am thinking it is time to quiet that whisper, just have fun and draw!!! P.S. What app and type of stylus do you use for your drawings? Still trying to decide if I am going to go the pen and paper route or ipad and stylus?
