Technology has revolutionized the way we teach. For most of us, we can’t imagine our classrooms without it. We can find ourselves depending on technology for our lessons.
And then there are times when tech fails us.
Have you ever been teaching a tech-dependent lesson when the wifi goes down? Suddenly you have a block of time you need to fill and you go to plan B or C or D.
So what do we do when tech fails? And how can we build in more creative and innovative lessons that are tech-less?
In a recent #Ditchbook chat, moderated by Rayna Freedman, we tackled these questions and more as the community shared tech-free ways to Ditch That Textbook. Participants shared resources and ideas like unplugged coding lessons from code.org, BreakoutEDU, and more.
